Job description
Who we are looking for
Investor Relations (IR) is responsible for cultivating and managing State Street's relationships with institutional investors and research analysts across both equity and fixed income markets. The IR team plays a critical role in communicating the company's strategy and financial performance to the investment community, ensuring a clear and accurate understanding of State Street's strategic direction and financial position.
By fostering transparency and consistency in messaging, IR helps maintain a stable, high-quality investor base. This is achieved through various channels, including quarterly earnings calls, investor presentations, industry conferences, and direct investor meetings. Additionally, IR works closely with senior management and the Board of Directors to relay market sentiment and investor feedback, supporting informed strategic decision-making.
The Vice President, Fixed Income Investor Relations reports to and partners closely with the Senior Vice President, Head of Fixed Income Investor Relations, in developing and executing State Street's Fixed Income IR strategy. This role plays a key part in supporting the firm's engagement with the fixed income investment community as part of the broader Investor Relations function.
The incumbent will help shape and deliver State Street's investor relations strategy for debt investors and other key fixed income stakeholders, ensuring clear, transparent, and effective communication of the company's financial performance, funding strategy, and risk profile. The role includes direct responsibility for managing relationships with buy-side and sell-side analysts focused primarily on U.S. financials.
This position will collaborate extensively with State Street's Treasury and Financial Planning & Analysis teams, as well as other Finance functions and business units, to gather and synthesize information that supports analytically driven and consistent messaging. Additionally, the individual will have the opportunity to contribute to the broader IR strategy, including engagement with equity analysts.

Assist in the development and execution of State Street's fixed income investor relations strategy in collaboration with senior IR leadership
Help organize and execute fixed income investor events, including roadshows and conferences as required
Contribute to the creation of fixed income investor materials including presentations and management Q&A documents as required, ensuring messaging is analytically driven and aligned with corporate strategy
Assist in managing relationships with buy-side and sell-side credit analysts, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of public information
Monitor and analyze fixed income market trends and investor sentiment to shape the firm's messaging and engagement strategy
Serve as a resource to senior leadership on fixed income market dynamics and investor expectations. Track and analyze trading activity, credit spreads, and investor behavior to inform IR strategy
Help inform funding strategy and capital planning through investor feedback and market analysis
Collaborate with Treasury, Finance, Legal and other teams on the execution of debt issuances
Support interactions with credit rating agencies. Help ensure consistent messaging between rating agencies and debt investors
Maintain accurate records of investor interactions and disclosures
