Job description


We're seeking a future team member for the role of Fixed Income Trader to join our Buyside Trading Solutions team. This role is located in Boston, MA.
In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Manage all aspects of executing complex order flow, as part of a buy-side trading organization, and in accordance with best execution procedures
  • Ensure client orders are executed in an efficient, timely, cost-effective manner, and in line with trade instructions. Work closely with peers in middle office and with counterparties to ensure efficient and accurate booking of trades
  • Collaborate with the investment team, trade support, quant research and engineering teams to evolve our trading practices and ensure efficient implementation of investment decisions.
  • Maintain and develop constructive relationships with our internal clients, vendors and counterparties in a bid to constantly improve our processes

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 3+ years of experience in institutional trading of Fixed Income products (FI). Experience in trading a broad category of FI products is preferred.
  • Quantitative skillset and experience with some combination of Python, R and SQL is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment without compromising attention to detail or risk management.
  • Intellectually curious, self-starter mindset - capable of grasping complex concepts and workflows and a desire to continually improve
