Job description

Architectural Fireplaces of NE, Inc. is seeking a motivated, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as a Fireplace Installer & Service Technician. We are a fireplace wholesale distributor serving builders, contractors, and homeowners. This role combines installation and service, giving you the chance to develop technical expertise and customer-facing skills. Prior fireplace experience is not required; training and certifications will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Install gas and wood fireplaces for residential and commercial projects.
  • Perform service and maintenance on gas fireplaces, including troubleshooting, repair, and installing accessories.
  • Provide excellent customer service and act as a liaison between the company and clients.
  • Work safely on ladders, roofs, and construction sites.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and mobile devices for job tasks.
  • Continuously learn and develop technical competency on our products.
  • Qualifications
  • Mechanically inclined and able to perform tasks unsupervised.
  • Problemsolving mindset with a proactive approach.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varied environments (indoors, outdoors, rooftops).
  • Reliable, dependable, motivated, and a strong team player.
  • Good driving record and ability to pass a background check and DOT physical.
  • Mobile device proficiency and willingness to ask for guidance when needed.
  • Work Schedule
  • Fulltime, yearround 4045 hours per week.
  • Extended hours and some Saturdays may be required during peak season (NovemberJanuary).
  • Weekends generally free outside of peak season.

    Salary: $45,000 – $75,000 annually ($21 – $36/hour) depending on experience.
