Job description

Accent Fireplace & Spas is seeking an experienced Lead Fireplace Installer (MUST HAVE MINIMUM 2 YEARS EXPERIENCE AS A LEAD FIREPLACE INSTALLER). Must have Gas license.

The Lead Fireplace Installer will be responsible for the installation of fireplaces, stoves, and inserts (Gas, Wood, and Pellet). Accurately and carefully, load/unload & install products for customers in excellent condition. Address all customers and coworkers in a courteous, respectful manner at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Load and inspect all products to be installed for that day
  • Review all paperwork before leaving warehouse to insure you have all the correct information and materials needed for installs
  • Ensure all installations meet local building codes and regulations.
  • Drive safely at all times when in company vehicle.
  • Inspect Jobsite for safety and readiness
  • Review paperwork for job site readiness so that install can be completed in a timely manner
  • Follow all install policies and procedures as outlined in the manufacturer installation manual
  • Complete all work for each job on site. Complete all job paperwork.
  • Communicate with job superintendent, Manager and sales representative if any issues occurred when fireplace was not completed.
  • Once day’s work is completed, return to warehouse.
  • Turn in paperwork to Manager to review.

Required Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience as a Fireplace Installer with at least 2 Years Experience
  • Mechanically inclined with power and hand tools
  • Not afraid of heights, able to use ladder.
  • Heavy lifting
  • Personable with good communication skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Work alone and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and an insurable driving record required
