About the Role:
Polar Bear Chimney Sweep LLC is looking for a skilled Fireplace Installer to join our growing team in Pottsboro, TX! This is a hands-on role where you'll bring warmth and comfort to homes and businesses by expertly installing fireplaces and related systems. If you take pride in quality craftsmanship and love working with your hands, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
  • Install gas, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces, as well as free standing wood stoves in residential and commercial setting.
  • Connect flues, and exhaust venting for proper operation and safety
  • Inspect installation sites and assess structural requirements prior to installation
  • Ensure all work complies with local building codes and safety regulations
  • Communicate professionally with customers, explaining installation processes and answering questions
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and job site cleanliness throughout each project
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in fireplace installation, HVAC, construction, or a related trade
  • Knowledge of gas fireplace systems, venting, and flue installation preferred
  • Ability to read Manufacturer installation guides
  • Familiarity with local building codes and safety compliance standards
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
