This is a high-visibility, field-focused opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys being involved in the day-to-day execution of major projects and working closely with field teams, contractors, and customers. The role will require frequent travel between project locations, with company-paid housing, travel, and per diem provided.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in mechanical insulation project management and is comfortable managing the coordination, scheduling, manpower, materials, and financial performance of large construction projects. Experience with union labor and/or previous work in Texas is a plus.
This is a long-term opportunity, with the data center project expected to run for approximately two years and additional projects expected to follow in the Phoenix, AZ and Texas markets. If you have a strong background in mechanical insulation project management and are looking for an opportunity to take ownership of a major project while building a long-term career with a growing contractor, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor project costs, labor productivity, budgets, and financial performance
  • Review drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation
  • Coordinate material procurement and delivery to support project schedules
  • Manage project changes, documentation, and customer communication
  • Identify potential project issues and develop solutions to keep work moving forward
  • Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to company and customer leadership
  • Maintain a consistent management presence on the jobsite, with flexibility around schedule and location based on project needs
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with safety requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations
  • Support project closeout and transition to future assignments as applicable

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in mechanical insulation required
  • Willingness and ability to travel between Amarillo, TX and Phoenix, AZ required
  • Proven experience managing mechanical insulation projects in commercial, industrial, or large-scale construction environments
  • Strong understanding of mechanical insulation installation, materials, field operations, and project execution
  • Experience managing project schedules, budgets, labor productivity, and job costs
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project documentation
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with field teams, contractors, customers, and internal leadership
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced construction environment
  • Experience working with union labor is a plus
  • Experience with Navisworks or other construction/modeling software is a plus

Base Salary: $105,000-$120,000 + project-based incentive
Housing: Company-provided housing at one project location (approximately $2,000/month)
Per Diem: $500/week
Travel: Company-paid travel between project locations and other approved travel expenses
Schedule: Flexible based on project needs; minimum 50% weekday jobsite coverage required
Location: Candidates may be based anywhere in the U.S. provided they are comfortable with the travel requirements between Amarillo, TX and Phoenix, AZ
