Experienced Fireplace Installer

Fireplace & Chimney Authority is looking for an experienced Fireplace Installer to join our growing team. We are seeking someone with strong carpentry skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience completing residential installation work.
Responsibilities

  • Install prefabricated gas, wood-burning, and electric fireplaces
  • Frame fireplace enclosures and complete related carpentry work
  • Run black pipe and flexible gas lines
  • Perform basic electrical work, including short conduit runs and outlet installation
  • Assemble and install gas grills
  • Install and grout manufactured stone veneer
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose gas-fireplace issues
  • Read measurements and follow manufacturer installation specifications
  • Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites
  • Properly care for company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Communicate professionally and courteously with customers
  • Follow company procedures and all applicable safety requirements
Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of carpentry or related installation experience
  • Fireplace installation experience is strongly preferred
  • Working knowledge of gas-line, electrical, and plumbing applications
  • Ability to accurately read measurements and follow project specifications
  • Must have the necessary basic hand tools to perform the work
  • Comfortable working on ladders, scaffolding, rooftops, and varying roof pitches
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy materials
  • Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
  • Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Strong communication and customer-service skills
  • Commitment to quality workmanship and job-site safety
Pay

  • $30.00–$40.00 per hour, based on experience
Benefits
