Chimney Cricket & Hometown Hearth is seeking a skilled fireplace installer to join our growing team. If you have experience installing gas or wood fireplace systems, we want to hear from you. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in clean, safe, professional installations that wow our customers.
Responsibilities:
  • Install gas and wood fireplaces/stoves/inserts according to manufacturer specifications, codes, and standards
  • Conduct site assessments to determine the best installation methods
  • Ensure all installations are performed safely and efficiently
  • Provide exceptional customer service during installations and consultations
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment at job sites.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices for fireplace installations

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in gas and wood fireplace installation
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Knowledge of codes and standards
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • NFI, CSIA, NCSG certifications in gas/wood/pellet preferred but not required
  • A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow
