About The Role
This is a dynamic technical and operational role serving as a dedicated Financial Systems Analyst for the high-growth Industrious Accounting and Finance team. Reporting to the Financial Systems Manager, your primary mission is to support the day-to-day health, efficiency, and accuracy of our core financial platforms: NetSuite and Coupa.
We are looking for a "NetSuite-first" junior professional - someone who understands the fundamentals of NetSuite administration and is excited to expand their toolkit by learning Coupa administration. We operate in a NetSuite OneWorld environment with subsidiaries across the globe, and you will be the front line of end-user support, ensuring our systems scale alongside our global expansion while maintaining the integrity of our financial data.
Ultimately, the ideal candidate is a proactive systems administrator who is culturally aligned with the Finance team's goals, including attention to detail and accountability, while possessing the technical depth to bridge the gap between financial requirements and IT execution at a fast-paced, exciting growth company.
Job Responsibilities
  • Primary NetSuite Support: Serve as the first point of contact for NetSuite and Coupa-related queries, including user access, Chart of Accounts, Approval Chains, reporting, and basic system configuration. Responsible for creating saved searches, reports, simple workflows, roles/permissions review (first pass). Joining the existing financial systems team in assisting the accounting and finance teams with month-end close
  • Ticketing & Triage: Get ready for a lot of tickets! Manage a steady flow of support requests via Zendesk and Slack. You'll be the "detective" who investigates errors, resolves access hurdles, and ensures we hit our SLAs and response times.
  • Integration Monitoring: Monitor and debug integrations (Workato) between NetSuite and Coupa. If it's a technical fire, you pass it to the engineering team. Maintaining lookup tables, getting ahead of issues by proactively monitoring integrations.
  • Coupa Apprenticeship: Work closely with the Financial Systems Manager to learn the ins and outs of Coupa, eventually taking on co-administration duties for the Procure-to-Pay process.
  • Testing & UAT: Assist in the testing of new features and system updates. You'll help ensure that "going live" is a non-event because your prep work was so thorough.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain "How-To" guides and process maps to empower our Finance team to use our systems more effectively.

You'll Love This Role If
  • You have 1-3 years of experience in a technical or analyst role, with a specific focus on NetSuite.
  • You are eager to become a dual-threat admin by adding Coupa expertise to your resume.
  • You are a natural problem-solver who doesn't mind "getting under the hood" of a system to figure out why an integration failed or an end user isn't seeing their desired results.
  • You pride yourself on being highly organized and detail-oriented; you understand that in Finance systems, a small error can have a large impact.
  • You are a clear communicator who can translate "system-speak" into plain English for our Accounting colleagues and others cross-functionally in the organization.
  • The idea of working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where no two days are the same sounds like fun!
  • Bonus: You have a basic understanding of accounting principles (e.g., the difference between a Debit and a Credit, or how the Accounts Payable process works).
Bonus: You have NetSuite scripting experience, optional but can grow in the role.
  • Bonus: You have experience working with P2P platforms like Coupa.
  • Bonus: You have experience with, or a basic understanding of internal controls (SOX-relevant), and the sensitive nature of financial reporting data.

This Role Isn't For You If
  • You have no prior experience working within NetSuite.
  • You prefer a slow-paced environment with very few interruptions or tickets.
  • You are looking for a purely "strategic" role and aren't interested in the daily tactical work of system administration and end user support.
  • You find documentation and process-mapping tedious.
  • You are uncomfortable working in a "grey area" where you might have to research a solution you haven't encountered before.

Growth & Development
We view this role as a career catalyst. You'll start with day-to-day system support and quickly evolve into leading strategic projects and cross-functional initiatives. Industrious fully invests in your long-term success by supporting professional certifications and ongoing education.
Equal Employment Opportunity: Industrious is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity. We have a long-standing commitment to providing equal employment opportunity to all qualified applicants regardless of race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, pregnancy, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, veteran status, political belief, or any other basis protected by applicable law.
