Job description

Sr Systems Engineer

Our client, a well-established law firm, is looking for a Sr. Systems Engineer with a focus on financial applications to join their team in Chicago! This role would handle the day-to-day technical support of their financial and accounting systems. You'll be the main point of contact as the SME of their financial systems.

Experience with Elite 3E or one of it's variants is a hard requirement for this role.

Location: Hybrid in the Loop 3x/week

Salary: Up to 145K DOE!

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and continuously improve the firm's financial systems, acting as Accounting's main technical point of contact.
  • Lead technical delivery for new Finance and Accounting system rollouts.
  • Build test plans and scripts to validate upgrades, integrations, and configuration changes.
  • Run UAT and align sign-off across Finance, Accounting, and other stakeholders.
  • Log defects, fixes, and approvals through to production.
  • Handle escalated support issues for financial application users.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience working with financial or accounting systems within the legal field
  • Experience with Elite 3E is required.
  • Experience with Boomi integrations, Intapp Time, Emburse Enterprise, SQL, and/or APIs would be a plus
