Job description

TransAmerica, a premier IT consulting and technical staffing company, is looking to add a Senior Oracle Financial Systems Engineer (SOA) to our team. The successful candidate must work onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.

This is an opportunity for a seasoned professional with extensive knowledge of Oracle Financial Applications, Oracle Financial Application Workflow, and SOA principles who can analyze and incorporate customer accounting business requirements into the Oracle Financial system. This role will include comprehensive system analysis, design, programming, and testing; Preparing detailed system documentation and program specifications; Providing managerial oversight and leadership throughout the full systems development lifecycle (SDLC) and mentoring team members.

Technical requirements

  • SQL & PL/SQL Proficient in database querying and programming
  • Oracle Reports 6i Experience in report development and management
  • Oracle Financial Analyzer Demonstrated working knowledge
  • Oracle Discoverer Proficiency in data discovery and reporting tools
  • Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) Extensive knowledge required; SOA certifications highly desired
  • Oracle Financial Application Workflow Strong functional and technical understanding

Work Experience:

  • Minimum 12 years of demonstrated experience in:
    • Information systems development
    • Functional and data requirements analysis
    • Systems analysis and design
    • Programming, program design, and documentation preparation
  • Minimum 10 years of intensive and progressive experience in:
    • Managing the implementation of information engineering projects
    • Systems analysis, design, and programming
    • Client/server environments
    • Task-specific technical disciplines as outlined above

Other:

  • Candidate must pass National Agency Check (NAC) prior to employment
  • Requires a Bachelor s degree or higher. Master s Degree will count towards 2 years of overall experience.
  • Corp-to-Corp allowed.
  • H1-Bs are acceptable (H1-B candidates must have at least 3 years of US Residency).
