Job Description
Responsible for coordinating all aspects of financial management of assigned departments. Provides financial support for strategic and tactical planning. Provides support in facilitating and assisting managers in the preparation of the annual operating and capital budgets. Monitoring of financial performance, achievement of goals and benchmarks, identifying variances, preparing and presenting analyses and reports to VP and management team. Monitors and facilitates revenue cycle activities including pricing, charge capture, revenue recognition and denial management. Provide recommendations for financial improvement. Facilitate and meaningfully participate in contingency planning and financial forecasting. Collaborates with other Financial Coordinators and the Director, Patient Services Finance as required to ensure conformity and compliance with all aspects of financial management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree required with a major in Accounting, Finance or related field required. Minimum five (5) years' experience in a healthcare required. MBA or CPA preferred Lean / Six Sigma Certification preferred. Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle required. Working knowledge of personal computers and spreadsheet software, and financial reporting packages required. Proven ability in financial analysis and accounting methodologies required. Strong written and oral communication skills and problem solving skills required.
