Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist with Eisenhower Physical Therapy, you will:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to develop personalized treatment plans that address each individual’s recovery goals.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, such as exercise, manual therapy, and modern rehabilitation equipment to alleviate pain, and enhance mobility.
  • Monitor patient progress rigorously, documenting all treatments and results in our electronic health record system to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Reassess and adjust treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on the use of assistive devices and effective self-care practices.
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements through continuous education, participating in workshops and professional development opportunities.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population, including children recovering from sports injuries and adults rehabilitating post-surgery. Your role will be pivotal in guiding these patients towards their rehabilitation goals, facilitating their journey from injury to function through evidence-based practices.

Qualifications
  • Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
  • A current and valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills essential for patient and team interactions.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems and basic computer applications.
  • A commitment to maintaining professional development through continuous education and training.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred Experience

While at least 2 years of prior physical therapy experience is preferred, we are open to considering candidates cumulating experience through internships or supervised clinical practice. A background in diverse treatment modalities and familiarity with assistive technologies would be advantageous.
