Job description

Job Title: Registered Financial Assistant

Position Location: Raleigh, NC. Hybrid position, must live locally.

Job Summary:

The Registered Financial Assistant provides support to Wealth Management Financial Advisors, builds client base, organizes events, and provides exceptional customer service.

As a key contributor to the Coastal team, your responsibilities will be:

  • (40%) Centralized Program Support: Offer business units comprehensive support by identifying growth opportunities leading to an increase in program capacity and to drive overall program success
  • (20%) Client and Administrative Support: Facilitate smooth operations and client transactions by processing new business requests, handling paperwork and trades, managing daily calendars, and ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency.
  • (20%) Event Coordination and Reporting: Organize events and track marketing effectiveness by maintaining registration logs and following up on appointments as a result of the event. Boost client engagement and optimize marketing strategies via email, postcard, and letter campaigns.
  • (10%) Support Financial Advisors: Build member relationships, drive new business through book of business analysis, and maintain advisors' existing book of business to enhance client retention and growth leading to strong client loyalty and increased revenue.
  • (10%) Prospecting and Scheduling: Expand client base by working the referrals provided by internal partners and improve advisor efficiency via conducting outbound calls, managing marketing mailings, maintaining prospect database, and scheduling appointments and referrals, helping with retention and deepening client relationships

Experience:

  • Two years of experience in a support, sales, or administrative capacity in a financial service or sales environment
  • FINRA Series 7; Series 63/65 or 66
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • NC Life, Accident and Health licenses preferred

Education:

  • High School diploma or equivalent

Essential cognitive/physical/social requirements of position:

Must be able to learn and retain information; resolve problems and think sequentially; remain in a stationary position; constantly operate a computer; and converse with others on a continual basis.
