The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at: $108,000.00 - $115,000.00
The above salary range represents the company's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. In addition, for fulltime, benefit eligible positions we offer a variety of benefits including company holidays, paid time off, health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, life and disability insurance as well as 401K with company match.
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as accounting and financial management analyst for institutional reporting
  • Serves as a leader ensuring that a group of financial professionals are working in concert with automated complex business practices within the time frame specified and all requirements are met
  • Lead and supervise a team of approximately 20 financial professionals
  • Provide support and materials to the PM for the client, assists CRM for briefings and presentations
  • Evaluates and recommends metrics such as activity/event based costing, and financial management options
  • Conduct complex business case analysis and detailed financial assessment of outsourcing requirements
  • Works with Operations & Maintenance (O&M) appropriations and have a thorough understanding of budgetary and proprietary accounting principles
  • Has knowledge of financial administration of contracts including contract line items, structure of the contracts, option periods, and other administrative and technical aspects of the supporting contracts
  • Perform auditing, accounting procedures, and accounting techniques for financial reporting requirements for CRM
  • Work with an Oracle-based accounting system that involves different programs generating a large number of transactions
  • Provide guidance on the accurate recording of complex accounting events; apply appropriate cost accounting techniques
  • Possess an understanding of the principles of financial statement compilation to ensure internal control compliance over financial reporting standards meeting the Service Organization Control (SOC) 1 / Statement of Standards for Attestation Engagement (SSAE) 18 reporting compliance standards

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field preferred
  • eight years of relevant experience including five years as a team lead or first level supervisor experience
  • experience in accounting or auditing
  • Knowledge of financial administration of contracts including contract line items, structure of the contracts option periods, and other administrative and technical aspects of the supporting contracts
  • Good working knowledge of Oracle Financial Services Software or other high-end project oriented accounting system
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills including grammatical/technical writing skills
  • Excellent attention to and accuracy with details
  • Strong individual initiative
  • Strong commitment to quality
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers and clients
