We are hiringย Manufacturing Operators to support key functions in our Fill, Finish, and Inspection operations. These positions ensure the production of safe, high-quality medicines in compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP). Whether you're a hands-on technician, detail-oriented inspector, or a mechanically inclined problem-solver, we have a role for you!ย 

Pay Range: $20.00 - $26.50 (hourly)ย 

Available Operator Rolesย 

  • Filling Operators (aseptic processing, equipment setup, machine operation)ย 
  • Formulation Operators (weighing, measuring, mixing of ingredients)ย 
  • Preparation Operators (equipment and component preparation)ย 
  • Capping Operators (container closure operations)ย 
  • Packaging Operators (labeling, boxing)ย 
  • Machine Operators (machine setup and operation)ย 
  • Inspection Operators (detecting defects in containers and contents)ย 

Key Responsibilitiesย 

  • Compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Proceduresย 
  • Record steps in batch records, logbooks, and other required documentationย 
  • Equipment and Machine Operationย 
  • Perform aseptic techniques and cleanroom gowning (for select roles)ย 
  • Conduct setup, cleaning, sanitization, and teardown of rooms and equipmentย

Physical Requirements:ย 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during your shiftย 
  • Comfort performing precise, repetitive tasks while following strict GMP and cleanroom standardsย 
  • Capability to lift and handle materials or components weighing 50-70 poundsย 
  • Exposure to noise, proximity to moving parts and equipment, and exposure to chemicals; atmospheric conditions including - odors and fumesย 
  • For certain positions, successful completion of a visual acuity test (20/20 vision with or without corrective lenses) and a color vision assessmentย 

Cleanroom Requirementsย 

  • Street clothes must be removed and replaced with company-provided cleanroom attire ย 
  • Ability to properly put on and remove cleanroom gowning according to GMP standardsย 
  • Ability to wear full cleanroom attire (including hairnet, beard cover, shoe covers, gown, gloves, mask, and other PPE) for extended periodsย 
  • Prohibited materials in cleanroom areas may include (but are not limited to): food/drink/gum, jewelry, makeup, nail acrylics, perfume/cologne, and personal cell phonesย 

Qualificationsย 

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent requiredย 
  • Must be able to understand, speak, read, and write English to comply with SOPs, job-specific training materials, GMP requirements, and other documentationย 
  • Must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States. Simtra does not anticipate providing sponsorship for employment visa status for these opportunitiesย 
  • Technical training or at least 6 months of prior pharmaceutical or manufacturing experience preferredย 

Pre-Employment Requirementsย 

Candidates must successfully complete:ย 

  • Physical examination to confirm ability to perform essential job functionsย 
  • Urine drug screenย 
  • Background checkย 

Shift Scheduleย 

Initial training occurs on day shift, Monday through Friday, for the first several weeks. Specific start and end times vary by position. An assessment will be administered to confirm your ability to perform essential job functions. Passing this assessment is required to continue employment with Simtra.ย 

After training, you will transition to your assigned shift.ย 

Available Full-Time Shifts:ย 

Filling Operations (Preparation, Formulation, Capping, Filling Operators)ย 

  • 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 12:30 AM (Mon-Thu)ย 
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM (Mon-Thu)ย 
  • Weekend Evening Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (Fri-Sun)ย 

Packaging Operations (Inspection, Packaging, Machine Operators)ย 

  • 2nd Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:15 PM (Mon-Fri)ย 
  • 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM (Mon-Fri)ย
