Job description

Privately held Paragon Steel (Butler, IN) warehouses and slits steel coils and has an excellent opportunity in a fast-paced, family-oriented manufacturing environment, on First Shift as a Slitting Operator.

Details:

  • Run the Slitter 60"/70" and function as Lead Operator with a crew of five
  • Slitting Operator experience preferred
  • Responsible for daily calibration checks of equipment and taking measurements of finished product
  • Ensure that the crew members are working safely and effectively
  • Familiarized with Edge Master Software to develop set-ups
  • Work with production supervisor as needed
