Position Description:

The Deflector cell Operator works with smelted metals from kettles and ensures the product meets customer specifications. This is a perfect entry level position for someone interested in the manufacturing industry.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with smelted metals from kettles
  • Ensure continuous production of parts that meet customer expectations
  • Inspect completed parts
  • Maintain quality standards through understanding of the Quality Management System
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with peers, supervisor and other staff
  • Other duties as directed by supervisor

Qualifications:

  • Motived and willing to learn the manufacturing industry
  • Good verbal communication and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Capable of working in a customer-focused, deadline-driven environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Able to stand on feet all day
