Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Set up, operate, and adjust filling machines to ensure efficient and accurate product filling.

Monitor machine performance during production runs and make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and minimize downtime.

Perform routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance, including cleaning and sanitizing machinery according to company protocols.

Conduct weight checks, volume checks, and other quality control measures to ensure compliance with product specifications.

Identify and report any mechanical issues, product inconsistencies, or safety hazards to the supervisor or maintenance team.

Complete production records and batch documentation accurately and promptly.

Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and safety guidelines.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, ensuring compliance with sanitation standards.

Assist in the changeover of equipment for different products or batch sizes as required.

Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and resolve any operational challenges.

Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Regularly required to stand, walk, and use hands and arms to operate equipment.

Frequently required to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 pounds.

Perform repetitive motions, including bending, reaching, and twisting, in a fast-paced production environment.

Work in an environment with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED is preferred but not required.

Previous experience in operating filling machines or working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in dietary supplements, food, or pharmaceuticals.

Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills to address minor equipment issues.

Ability to read and follow instructions, batch records, and technical documents in English (bilingual English/Spanish is a plus).
