Job Description

The Field Administrator provides comprehensive administrative, customer and company relations, and facility support for field operations. Working under the direct supervision of the Area Supervisor, this role takes lead responsibility for area billing, reporting, and day-to-day office operations, ensuring that processes remain organized, accurate, and fully functional. The position supports field construction management and crews, assembles and maintains final job packages for handover to the billing team, and helps maintain a professional, well-run office environment within a construction setting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to field operations, ensuring office activities are organized, efficient, and well-documented.
  • Support field construction management and crews with administrative tasks, documentation, and coordination as required.
  • Take lead responsibility for area billing activities, including preparation, review, and coordination of billing-related documentation.
  • Assemble, organize, and maintain final job packages for handover to the billing team, ensuring completeness and accuracy of all documents.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain reports and records to support project administration and overall field operations.
  • Perform accurate and timely data entry, including Excel-based data management such as filters, tables, and basic spreadsheets.
  • Maintain effective written and oral communication with a diverse group of individuals, including laborers, project staff, and leadership.
  • Identify issues or discrepancies in documentation, billing, or processes and escalate them to management as necessary.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, following through on assignments and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, sometimes ambiguous environment.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and planning skills to manage multiple tasks, priorities, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor at all times while representing the organization on site and in the office.
  • Contribute to a positive company culture by working collaboratively, supporting team members, and demonstrating a high commitment to achieving goals and tasks.
  • Perform general administrative duties such as document control, project administration support, and maintenance of electronic and physical files.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Pierce, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
