The Farmers Insurance Protg Program is a paid training program that provides hands-on experience, mentorship, and a structured path to becoming a full-time Agency Owner.

Youll work directly with a successful agency while learning the ins and outs of running your own business....without starting from scratch.

This role is designed for someone who wants to learn the business from the inside, produce at a high level, and ultimately step into agency ownership - with the new agent capital requirement waived upon successful graduation.

What Youll Do:

As a Protg Agency Producer, youll work inside a local Farmers Agency where you will:

  • Train under a top-performing agency owner
  • Learn sales, operations, and client relationship management
  • Develop leadership and business management skills with support from the district team
  • Build and manage a pipeline of clients
  • Gain real-world experience in running an agency

Minimum Requirements

To be appointed as a Protg:

  • Must pass a background check.
  • Must hold a Texas Property & Casualty license prior to start.
  • Must obtain Life & Health for program graduation.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to commit to the full "up to" 12-month program.
