ABOUT OUR AGENCY:
I opened my agency in 2025 after spending more than 21 years within the State Farm organization, starting as a secretary, moving into auto claims, and then spending the last decade working for a State Farm agent. That journey gave me a deep understanding of the business and, more importantly, why education matters.
Early on, no one explained life insurance or long-term planning options to my own family, and that experience drives my passion today — making sure people truly understand their choices and can plan confidently for the future. Family is at the center of everything I do. I’m married with two children, and creating opportunities for them to travel and experience the world shapes how I lead and support my team.
Our agency includes two team members plus myself, and we’ve built a fast-paced, lighthearted, and positive environment with a strong family feel. We offer Casual Fridays, team lunches throughout the month, quarterly one-on-one check-ins outside the office, a health stipend, and we cover all licensing materials. Accountability and support go hand-in-hand here, and we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of the community, brings positive energy, and wants to grow in an agency where people genuinely look out for one another.
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Cameron Pickering - State Farm Agent is a leading insurance agency dedicated to providing exceptional service to our customers. We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Receptionist - State Farm Agent Team Member.
Our ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to contributing to a positive and productive workplace. If you thrive in a supportive role and are eager to learn and grow within the insurance industry, we invite you to apply and become a valued member of our team.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Greet customers warmly in person and over the phone, directing them to the appropriate team members.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and office communications.
  • Assist in handling incoming inquiries and maintaining customer records.
  • Engage in conversations with prospective and existing customers, identifying opportunities to offer insurance options.
  • Provide excellent customer service and follow up on customers needs.
  • Support the team with various administrative tasks and projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous experience in a receptionist or customer service role.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Comfortable with engaging in sales conversations.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
