ABOUT MilkShake Factory
MilkShake Factory is bringing more than 100 years of chocolate-making tradition to San Antonio! We specialize in handspun milkshakes, decadent sundaes and premium chocolates, but what we're really about is creating memorable experiences for every guest who walks through our doors.
We're building our San Antonio North team (located near 1604 / IH-10) and looking for energetic, dependable people who enjoy working with others, taking care of customers and having some fun along the way.
No milkshake or chocolate experience required. We'll teach you that. Bring a great attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
The RoleAs a Team Member, you'll be at the center of the MilkShake Factory experience. You'll greet guests, take orders, make incredible desserts, recommend products, keep the store clean and stocked, and work alongside your teammates to keep things running smoothly.
This is a hands-on, fast-paced role. During a busy shift, everyone pitches in.
A Different Kind of Food Service Job
Love working with people but not the typical fast-food environment? So do we.
  • No fryers or greasy kitchens
  • No grills or cooking raw meat
  • No drive-thru
  • Work in a clean, modern dessert shop
  • Spend your shift making milkshakes, sundaes and premium chocolate
  • Fun, upbeat environment focused on creating great guest experiences

  • Take customer orders accurately and operate our point-of-sale system
  • Prepare milkshakes, sundaes and other desserts according to MilkShake Factory recipes and standards
  • Prepare and sell our premium chocolate bark

  • Maintain speed, accuracy and presentation standards during busy periods

  • Wash dishes, take out trash, sweep, mop and complete other routine cleaning responsibilities
  • Restock ingredients, packaging, chocolates and supplies throughout the shift
  • Follow food safety, sanitation and allergen procedures
  • Assist with opening and closing responsibilities as assigned
  • Work as part of a team and jump in wherever help is needed
  • Help create the fun, welcoming atmosphere we want every MilkShake Factory guest to experience

  • Are friendly and comfortable interacting with customers
  • Show up on time and can be counted on by their teammates
  • Have a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Can work quickly while maintaining quality and attention to detail
  • Communicate well and work effectively as part of a team
  • Can follow recipes, procedures and food-safety standards
  • Are willing to clean, restock and help wherever needed
  • Can remain professional and composed during busy periods
  • Have previous customer service, restaurant or cash-handling experience - a plus, but not required

Schedule and Physical Requirements
  • Opening Date: October 5, 2026
  • Paid Training Begins: October 1, 2026
  • Flexible availability is preferred, including evenings and weekends. Weekend availability is especially important.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for most of a scheduled shift
  • Must be able to bend, reach, stoop and perform repetitive tasks
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
  • Must meet applicable food-handler and food-safety requirements
