Location: Cerritos, CA (Onsite) | Type: Full-Time | Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8AM - 5PM with Saturday's as needed
The CAR Group (Norm Reeves Dealerships) is looking for a creative, energetic, and organized Social Media Specialist to help grow the social media presence of four of our Southern California dealerships. This role is ideal for someone who loves creating photo and video content, enjoys being around people, and wants to build a career in social media, content creation, and brand marketing. You'll spend your time capturing content, editing videos, coordinating events, engaging with our online community, and helping showcase the people, culture, and stories that make our dealerships unique.
For immediate consideration, applicants must submit a resume and portfolio, reel, or work samples showcasing their content creation abilities. Examples should include short-form social media content (Reels, TikToks, or Shorts), long-form video projects, and event recap or highlight videos. Core Responsibilities
  • Capture and edit photo and video content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and other social platforms.
  • Travel between our Cerritos and Huntington Beach dealership locations to create content.
  • Produce engaging short-form and long-form video content.
  • Assist with planning and executing social media campaigns and dealership events.
  • Coordinate and schedule content shoots with dealership staff and leadership.
  • Monitor social media comments, messages, and mentions while helping route customer inquiries to the appropriate teams.
  • Maintain an organized content library and content calendar.
  • Collaborate closely with our Social Media & Brand Manager to bring creative ideas to life.
  • Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and emerging content formats

What You'll Need
  • 2+ years of experience creating social media content, photography, videography, or digital marketing content.
  • Strong video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar software.
  • Experience shooting content with DSLR or mirrorless cameras.
  • Understanding of Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and current social media trends.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Comfortable working with employees and customers on camera.
