The Content Creation Manager is responsible for creating compelling, high-quality content that strengthens Allegacy's brand, builds trust, and deepens engagement across digital channels. This role serves as the primary content creator for the communications team, leading the production of videos, photography, member stories, employee features, financial education content, and thought leadership assets.


This is a hands-on creative role. You'll spend your time finding stories, conducting interviews, capturing footage, editing content, and producing engaging digital experiences from concept to final delivery.


The ideal candidate is an experienced multimedia storyteller who is equally comfortable behind a camera, in an editing suite, or interviewing a member about a milestone. They can turn a simple conversation into a compelling story and produce professional-quality content without relying heavily on outside agencies or freelancers.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Create and Produce Story-Driven Content
  • Identify, capture, and produce stories that showcase members, employees, businesses, community partnerships, and organizational impact. 
  • Develop content that brings Allegacy's brand and purpose to life through authentic human experiences. 
  • Conduct interviews and gather stories from a variety of audiences across the organization and community. 
  • Transform stories into content that is engaging, relatable, and optimized for digital audiences. 

2. Lead Video Production

  • Serve as the primary videographer for the communications team. 
  • Plan, shoot, and edit video content for social media, website, email, internal communications, and executive communications. 
  • Produce a wide range of content including member stories, employee spotlights, community impact stories, financial education videos, executive thought leadership videos, event recaps, and short-form social content.
  • Manage all aspects of production, including storyboarding, filming, audio capture, lighting, editing, and post-production. 

3. Adapt Content Across Digital Channels

  • Adapt stories into multiple formats and channel-specific assets. 
  • Create content packages that support social media, email marketing, website content, and internal communications. 
  • Collaborate with the Social Media Manager and Email Manager to ensure content is optimized for audience engagement. 
  • Produce content that supports ongoing campaigns and communication priorities. 
  • Provide videography/photography support for events, community initiatives, leadership activities, and member-facing programs. 

 4. Manage Content Production Workflow

  • Coordinate shoots, interviews, locations, schedules, and production logistics. 
  • Organize and maintain digital asset libraries. 
  • Manage editing timelines and content delivery schedules. 
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and meet brand and quality 


Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Media Production, Film, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. 
  • 5+ years of experience in content creation, video production and editing, and multimedia storytelling. 
  • Experience managing projects from concept through final delivery. 
  • Proven ability to identify compelling narratives and translate them into engaging visual content.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in financial services, banking, credit unions, nonprofits, news, healthcare, higher education, or mission-driven organizations. 
  • Familiarity with drone photography/videography. 
  • Experience producing both short-form and long-form video content. 
  • Experience interviewing a wide range of subjects.
  • Strong photography skills with the ability to capture both candid and planned storytelling imagery.
  • Advanced video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to use AI tools to support authentic content production.

Within the first year, the Content Creation Manager will:

  • Establish a consistent pipeline of member, employee, and community stories. 
  • Produce a steady cadence of high-quality digital content across channels. 
  • Become the organization's go-to resource for visual storytelling. 
  • Significantly reduce reliance on outside videographers, photographers, and freelance content creators. 
  • Help elevate Allegacy's digital presence through authentic, engaging stories that strengthen relationships and reinforce the brand.
