Position Summary...The Manager, Specialty Compliance and Ethics - Food Packaging & Labeling, oversees adherence to regulatory requirements and ethical standards within their area of responsibility. This role involves monitoring laws and policies, researching regulatory trends, and developing strategies to address compliance gaps. The manager collaborates with senior leadership to communicate findings, supports legislative impact assessments, and leads continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this position provides guidance and development opportunities for associates while fostering a culture of integrity, accountability, and high performance aligned with company values and business objectives.

The US Food Safety and Compliance team at Walmart ensures all products adhere to regulatory and safety standards, strengthening consumer confidence. As a manager, you will lead programs focused on food labeling and product compliance, collaborating with stakeholders to monitor regulations and address compliance matters.   • Execute the Food Packaging & Labeling Regulatory Compliance programs for Walmart and Sam's Club.
  • Manage compliance and ethics consistency by addressing questions, monitoring regulations, and updating policies with leadership input.
  • Monitor and analyze laws, regulations, and policies to identify potential compliance gaps and recommended corrective strategies.
  • Develop, update, and communicate policies and standard operating procedures in collaboration with leadership.
  • Prepare reports on compliance findings and present recommendations to senior management.
  • Foster strong stakeholder relationships and support continuous improvement initiatives.
