Job description

Power-Flo Technologies Moonachie has served the needs of the OEM, Industrial, Commercial, and MRO markets in New Jersey since 1934. We are looking for you to join our collaborative team as an inside sales representative.

Inside Sales Representative Responsibilities include but not limited to the following :

  • Preparing sales proposals
  • Supporting outside sales staff
  • Providing best in class customer service to our customers at all times
  • Providing product information and regular vendor contact for various reasons i.e., expediting open orders
  • Using industrial & electrical product knowledge to better communicate with customers
  • Reaching out to customers on an as needed basis to inquire about potential future needs
  • Supporting customers by suggesting additional products that could compliment their needs for the specific job that they are working on
  • Working with credit department to inquire and help provide resolution to account financial status for customers

Inside Sales Representative Requirements for the position include but are not limited to the following :

  • Minimum 2 years of electrical distribution sales experience required.
  • Electrical supplies product knowledge required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Must be committed to learning our business and keeping up to date on all product lines
  • Willingness to learn about all aspects of electrical and industrial distribution
  • Must be a self-motivated and sales driven individual
  • Experienced being responsible for maintaining and exceeding quota’s/sales goals
  • Must be able to learn our Windows based and our text command-based ERP System
  • Valid and clean driver's license to travel to trainings (as needed)
  • Experience with our ERP System that is called Eclipse is a plus

Prior relationships with the vendors relevant to our industry/business (electrical) is a big plus.

Salary Range: $25.00 - $43.00/hour (depending on direct industry and product experience)
