Job description

Flo-Services Inc. is searching for a Journeyman California State Certified Licensed Electrician that can be trained to also perform mechanical installation/field service. The ideal candidate for this position should be career orientated and possess the required skills, be willing to learn multiple trades, possess critical thinking skills, and be open to working outdoors. Applicant also must be willing to travel and stay overnight for certain jobs.
Flo-Services is a contracting company based in Burbank, CA which specializes in performing maintenance, repairs, installation and modifications to water, wastewater, and storm water equipment. We also perform sales in water and wastewater equipment.
Flo-Services has a General “A” Engineering California State Contractor’s License, a C10 Electrical California State Contracting License, and a C61/D21 pump and repair machinery California State Contractors license.
Flo-Services is willing to properly train the right individual on all the equipment we repair, service, maintain and install. As well as provide the required safety training to include becoming certified in confine space entry, hazmat, first aid and CPR training.
Flo-Services Inc. is a drug-free company. We comply with federally mandated DOT drug-free guidelines. Applicant must pass drug screening, pre-employment physical, background check, and DMV record clearance.
Basic Duties and Responsibilities to include:

  • Visual, physical, and mechanical inspection of water/wastewater systems and processing equipment.
  • Replacing water piping and valves.
  • Ability to comfortably lift up to 70lbs of equipment
  • Will be expected to professionally conduct and represent the company with relation to homeowners, city inspectors, utility inspectors, various municipal field contacts.
  • Open to entering below grade confined spaces.
  • MUST have a CLEAN driving record
  • Willing to work overtime when required.
  • Must be willing to travel out of town.

Bi-lingual a plus
Extensive mechanical skills and understanding of motors, plumbing, welding, and specific knowledge of trades are also a plus.
Usual hours 7:00am to 3:30pm Monday-Friday
Health benefits and paid time off are offered after probationary period.
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Work location: Our facility is located in Burbank. Travel to jobsites outside the city is required (via company transportation).
