Job description

Poke N Go is a fast-casual restaurant in Jupiter serving build-your-own poke bowls, ramen, and boba teas made with high-quality, fresh ingredients. We're growing, and we're looking for a Shift Leader to help run the floor and develop alongside our management team.

About the Role

As Shift Leader, you'll be leading a small team of 3–6, keeping service moving during rushes, and making sure every guest leaves happy. You'll work directly with the Manager and have a clear path to expanded responsibility as we grow.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and motivate the team during your shift, setting the pace for service and quality
  • Open or close the restaurant, including cash handling, daily reports, and securing the building
  • Coach team members on prep standards, recipes, and guest service
  • Step in on the line, register, or boba bar wherever the team needs support
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
  • Monitor food quality, portioning, and cleanliness throughout the shift
  • Manage prep lists, inventory counts, and end-of-shift checklists
  • Enforce food safety and sanitation standards in line with Florida health code

What We're Looking For

  • 1+ year of restaurant experience (fast-casual or QSR strongly preferred)
  • Prior shift lead, key holder, or supervisor experience is a plus
  • Calm under pressure and able to manage a busy lunch or dinner rush
  • Reliable, punctual, and comfortable holding teammates to the same standard
  • Available evenings and weekends
  • Florida Food Handler certification (or willing to obtain within 60 days of hire — a state requirement)
  • ServSafe Manager certification is a plus
  • Must be able to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs

What We Offer

  • Competitive hourly pay plus tips [insert range — e.g., $17–$20/hr + tips]
  • Free shift meals
  • Flexible scheduling
  • A clear growth path — we promote from within, and our next Assistant Manager will likely come from this role
  • A team that actually likes working together
