Dura-Line is hiring for a Lead Line/Offline Operator in Sandersville, GA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Communicate standards for process time, settings, and specifications.

  • Track and provide feedback to staff and the Extrusion Supervisor.

  • Check equipment, materials, and product, and recommend or take appropriate action.

  • Monitor extruder OEE.

  • Maintain 5S+ practices and safety policies.

  • Troubleshoot production processing problems.

  • Complete production work, including running the line.

  • Train operators on equipment, procedures, and adjustments.

  • Assist with auxiliary equipment selection.

  • Participate in training, safety, and continuous improvement activities.

Requirements:

  • Basic math/measurement & reading comprehension skills

  • Around 1 year of equipment or machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.

  • Physical requirements include standing and walking for 8–12 hours, climbing, reaching, squatting, and bending; working in weather and noisy environments; wearing required PPE; and lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 50 lbs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to move around obstacles and wear required PPE.

  • Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours.

  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.

  • Ability to climb, reach, squat, and bend.

  • Ability to work in environments with temperature variation and noise.

The compensation for this position is typically start at $23.25/Hour.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. The compensation package may also include short and long-term incentive compensation.
