Job Description

Product Manager, Data (Credit & Alternative Data Strategy)

Join Experian's Product organization and shape the data that powers smarter decisions across the credit lifecycle. You'll lead the strategy and commercialization of data assets that fuel credit risk, decisioning, identity, and financial services solutions used by lenders worldwide. Your work will directly influence how new data becomes scalable products that inform insight, innovation, and growth.

You will work remote, or hybrid based on your proximity to an Experian office.

What you'll do:

  • Define and lead the strategy for evaluating, acquiring, and expanding data assets that power Experian's products across acquisition, underwriting, account management, and collections
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, and Analytics to transform raw data into highvalue, scalable data products used in models, scores, and decisioning solutions
  • Build a longterm data roadmap with care for Experian's product portfolio and growth strategy
  • Guide commercialization by allowing product teams to create datadriven solutions to market
  • Identify new opportunities through market, and competitive insights across lending and financial services
  • Collaborate across credit risk, fraud, identity, and decisioning teams to ensure data supports diverse use cases and customer segments
  • Ensure data products are scalable, governed, compliant, and bring measurable commercial impact
Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large-scale data assets, data platforms, or data-driven products within financial services, FinTech, or analytics organizations.
  • Experience partnering with data science teams to develop attributes, models, or analytics products.
  • Demonstrated experience defining product strategy and building roadmaps for data or analytics products that support multiple downstream use cases. Experience with data governance, data quality management, and regulatory considerations related to financial data.
  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree in data science, analytics, finance, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in product management, data product management, or analytics product strategy.
  • Experience building business cases, evaluating investment opportunities, and increasing revenue from data-enabled products.
  • Experience with credit bureau data, credit risk analytics, financial data ecosystems, or decisioning platforms.

Within this range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors such as job-related skills, experience, and education.
