Job description


Join a team that partners closely with Consumer & Community Banking (CCB) Operations leaders to turn financial data into clear insights and better decisions. You'll work with stakeholders across finance and operations, helping shape plans, explain results, and identify opportunities to improve how we run the business.
As a Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Associate in CCB Operations, you will partner with business and finance leaders to manage forecasting, planning, reporting, and analysis across key metrics such as expenses, volumes, and unit costs. You'll help deliver timely, high-quality insights that inform decisions, improve transparency, and support operational discipline. You'll work in a collaborative environment with exposure to senior stakeholders and opportunities to drive continuous improvement.
Job Responsibilities
  • Partner with CCB Operations and Finance stakeholders to identify risks, opportunities, and key performance drivers
  • Manage the monthly forecasting process, including assumptions, inputs, and variance analysis
  • Support annual budget and mid-year reforecast processes, coordinating timelines and deliverables
  • Prepare and consolidate month-end results and deliver clear explanations of variances versus plan/forecast
  • Develop management reporting and dashboards to track expenses, volumes, and unit costs
  • Review expense activity to ensure appropriate governance, transparency, and adherence to financial discipline
  • Perform financial and strategic analyses to support decisions and business initiatives
  • Create concise, executive-ready presentations and materials for senior management
  • Maintain a calendar of deliverables to ensure accurate, on-time reporting and smooth stakeholder engagement
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and expense efficiency initiatives across the organization
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent relevant experience)
  • Experience in financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and variance analysis
  • Strong financial and analytical skills, including comfort working with large data sets
  • Ability to communicate clearly in writing and verbally with business and finance stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines with attention to detail
  • Proficiency with spreadsheet and presentation tools (e.g., Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to challenge assumptions using data
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience supporting an operations organization or expense management activities
  • Experience in retail financial services or banking
  • Experience building or enhancing dashboards and automated reporting (e.g., visualization/workflow tools)
  • Familiarity with enterprise financial planning and reporting systems
  • Experience preparing materials for senior leadership and executive forums
  • Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Continuous improvement mindset (process simplification, automation, and standardization)
