Job description

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, deploy, troubleshoot, and optimize telecom voice infrastructure
• Manage and support core voice platforms including Ribbon, Metaswitch, Nokia/Siemens, or similar technologies
• Handle SIP signaling, RTP/SRTP, SDP, DIAMETER, transcoding, and telecom routing
• Lead troubleshooting efforts during live outages and provide RCA/mitigation documentation
• Work with Cisco networking technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, NAT, HSRP, VPNs, and ACLs
• Develop automation/scripts using Bash, Perl, or Python
• Support provisioning platforms, monitoring tools, and network performance initiatives
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications, or Software Engineering
5+ years of telecom/voice engineering experience
3+ years of hands-on experience with Ribbon, Metaswitch, Nokia/Siemens core voice platforms, or similar
Strong expertise in SIP, RTP, SRTP, SDP, DIAMETER, and telecom signaling
Experience with Unix/Linux environments and scripting/automation
Strong troubleshooting and customer communication skills
Preferred Skills:
Experience with Ribbon CS2K/C20, Oracle SBCs, and 5ESS systems
Knowledge of STIR/SHAKEN, CALEA, robocall mitigation, and telecom compliance
Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, NFV, and cloud-native telecom environments
Familiarity with mediation systems, billing frameworks, and analytics tools
Experience in large-scale service provider environments
