Description
Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring in the Cleveland/Akron area, and we are looking to hire outstanding Aerial/Overhead Telecom Lineman !
Aerial Telecom Lineman will handle new business projects within our Telecom Construction division. It's also a great opportunity to be part of the team establishing Team Fishel as the leader in the utility construction industry in the state of Ohio as we continue to grow.
Responsibilities
  • Planning and Initiating Projects
  • Establishing OSHA and Customer Safety Requirements
  • Setting Poles
  • Maintaining and Repairing Overhead Fiber Optic Facilities
  • Installing New Strand and Lashing Fiber
  • Installing and Maintaining Down Guys, Overhead Guys, etc.
  • Building Risers, Installing Snow Shoes/Slack Coils
  • Tree Trimming

Lineman Requirements & Qualifications
  • Must have 1+ years' experience in the industry
  • Experience with commercial deliveries and transport in the Akron/Cleveland area
  • Basic tools required could be climbing tools (Belt and Gaffs), basic hand tools, etc.
  • Valid CDL-A is strongly desired

Bilingual and prior construction experience is highly desirable.
Team Fishel will provide on-the-job training in all areas of safety, including flagging certification, tool operation and maintenance.
