Expanded Learning Programs are educational initiatives that provide students with additional learning opportunities outside of the traditional school day. These programs can take place before or after school, during weekends, or over the summer, and are designed to support academic achievement, social-emotional development, and enrichment activities. They often include tutoring, homework help, arts, sports, STEM projects, and other hands-on experiences. The goal is to engage students in meaningful learning, support working families, and help close achievement gaps.

What are some common challenges faced by staff in expanded learning programs, and how can they be addressed?

Staff in Expanded Learning Programs often encounter challenges such as engaging students with diverse backgrounds and needs, managing large groups, and balancing administrative tasks with direct instruction. To address these, it's important to develop strong classroom management skills, utilize culturally responsive teaching practices, and collaborate closely with colleagues and families. Ongoing professional development and open communication within the team can also help staff feel supported and effective in delivering high-quality enrichment experiences.

Job description

About PlayMetrics

PlayMetrics is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company revolutionizing the way youth sports organizations operate. Our industry-leading platform is trusted by thousands of clubs, leagues, and governing bodies to manage operations, communication, scheduling, and player development, all in one place. We're backed by private equity and run with the speed and ownership mindset of a startup: we move fast, build lean, and expect everyone to make a visible impact.

The Role

We are seeking a data-driven Field Enablement Manager to own the classroom, architect high-impact learning paths, and directly accelerate GTM performance. This isn't a passive coordination role; it is built for an instructional designer and master facilitator who designs programs with the end revenue metric in mind. If you are an expert in adult learning theory, have 3-5 years of enablement experience (prior quota-carrying experience preferred), and know how to weaponize modern AI workflows to shrink ramp times and expand accounts, let's build the future of our GTM team together.

As the Field Enablement Manager, your mission is to design, deploy, and scale enablement initiatives that directly move core business metrics. Rooted deeply in adult learning theory and instructional design, you will own the end-to-end execution of onboarding (accelerating time-to-productivity for new hires) and continuous everboarding (driving net revenue retention and quota attainment for tenured Sales and Account Management roles). You will be deeply technical, embedding AI productivity tools into the flow of training to create a highly efficient, high-performing GTM engine.

What You'll Do (Key Responsibilities)

  • Business-Outcome Instructional Design: Architect onboarding and everboarding programs designed backward from target KPIs (e.g., reducing time-to-first-deal, increasing win rates). Apply behavioral and adult learning science to ensure training translates directly into on-the-job execution.
  • High-Impact Program Delivery: Facilitate elite, metrics-driven bootcamps, workshops, and coaching clinics. Move away from passive lectures toward interactive, high-energy case studies, simulation-based certifications, and tactical reinforcement.
  • AI-Powered Performance Scalability: Own the adoption and optimization of the modern AI sales tech stack (conversational intelligence, predictive prospecting, real-time battlecards). Design automated roleplay scenarios and AI-driven simulator paths to scale practical mastery without draining leadership resources.
  • Frontline Manager Enablement: Equip Frontline Managers (FLMs) with the diagnostic frameworks and coaching plays needed to inspect pipelines, run high-yield deal reviews, and sustain programmatic training on their teams.
  • Data-Driven Gap Analysis: Partner with Revenue Operations and GTM leadership to analyze performance data, identify lagging leading indicators (e.g., low discovery-to-scoping conversion, poor expansion pipeline), and rapidly deploy targeted everboarding interventions.

What You'll Need (Qualifications & Competencies)

  • Proven Track Record: 3-5 years of dedicated experience in Sales/GTM Enablement, with clear examples of how your programs directly impacted rep performance and revenue velocity.
  • Prior Sales Experience (Plus): Direct prior experience in a quota-carrying sales or account management role, allowing you to establish immediate peer-level credibility with the field.
  • Adult Learning & Instructional Design Mastery: Expert command of adult learning methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, Kirkpatrick evaluation, cognitive load theory) applied specifically to B2B sales cycles, renewal motions, and expansion strategies.
  • AI Stack Fluency: Deep technical comfort and practical fluency with modern AI tools, with a proven ability to teach reps how to leverage AI to maximize their daily output and efficiency.
  • Commercial Acumen: A strong understanding of SaaS metrics (ARR, GRR, NRR) and sales frameworks (e.g., value selling, MEDDPICC), ensuring all enablement strategies tie back to macro business objectives.

Performance Dashboard (KPIs & Impact)

The success of this role is measured not by modules completed, but by behavioral change that shifts corporate metrics.

Direct Role KPIs

  • Time-to-Productivity: Average days for new Sales/AM hires to achieve full baseline quota or milestone attainment.
  • Everboarding Impact: Post-training performance lift (comparing cohort delta in win rates or pipeline generation 30/60/90 days post-intervention).
  • Certification Rigor: Pass rates and practical application scores across core sales methodologies and AI tool proficiency benchmarks.
  • Programmatic Health: Qualitative sentiment score (Internal NPS) paired with ongoing behavioral adoption metrics tracked via conversational intelligence.

Top-Line Business Metrics Impacted

  • Ramp Velocity: Compression of the overall new hire financial ramp curve.
  • Quota Attainment: Percentage increase of reps outperforming baseline quotas.
  • Net Revenue Retention (NRR): Expansion, cross-sell, and renewal rates across the Account Management landscape.
  • Sales Cycle Efficiency: Reduction in average sales cycle length and pipeline stagnation
