Job Description
General Functions :
The Orange County Convention Center is seeking to hire an On Call Exhibitor Services Representative. This is a temporary role that is responsible for accurately processing all service orders assigned for Convention Center events. The selected candidate will have extensive public contact and must possess good communication skills, be customer oriented, have a strong attention to detail, and be able to perform multiple tasks.
Representative Duties/Assignments :
Inputs and processes service orders for Convention Center events.
Assists Exhibitor Services Representatives with Exhibitor communication via telephone, e-mail, fax and chat.
Provides show site support and works service desk during events, move in/out.
Inputs and processes show site orders and assists exhibitors.
Provides assistance to exhibitors, clients or other customers before, during and after events.
Assists with onsite Mobile Connect service for exhibitors
Meets the Center of Hospitality (CoH) standards.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Must be able to work irregular hours according to show activity including nights, weekends and holidays.
Other duties as assigned. Hours will vary depending on show schedule
Minimum Qualifications :
High School graduate or equivalent
Preferences :
1) or more years experience with administrative, fiscal, sales or customer service activities.
Experience in the hospitality industry, with related telemarketing or customer service experience.
Excellent communication skills, attention to detail and be able to perform multiple tasks.
Exemplarily customer service and be able to perform with limited supervision.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
Ability to learn Event Business Management Software (EBMS)
