Job description

Emerald is building a pipeline of experienced sales leaders who thrive on coaching teams, driving accountability, and delivering revenue growth. As a Sales Director, you will lead and develop a sales team supporting one or more of Emerald's market-leading brands. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on coaching, pipeline management, forecasting, and performance optimization. The ideal candidate has a strong track record of building high-performing teams while creating a culture of accountability, customer focus, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Account Executives and sales professionals
• Drive execution of sales strategies that support revenue growth and customer retention
• Monitor pipeline health, forecasting accuracy, and sales performance metrics
• Conduct regular deal reviews, pipeline reviews, and coaching sessions
• Support new business development efforts and assist with strategic customer opportunities
• Recruit, onboard, and develop sales talent
• Reinforce sales processes, methodologies, and operating standards
• Partner with marketing, operations, customer success, and brand leadership to align commercial efforts
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, sales effectiveness, and customer outcomes
• Ensure consistent CRM adoption, forecasting discipline, and reporting accuracy
Qualifications
• Proven experience leading sales teams in B2B, events, media, sponsorship, marketing services, or related industries

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Target Compensation: $90,000 - $110,000 plus Sales Incentive Plan eligible
Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate's qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
