Job description

Summary
The Accounts Receivable Clerk role requires the ability to plan and organize work effectively while managing daily financial tasks with accuracy and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ideally this individual will have a solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and a strong commitment to customer service.
Description:
  • Assist with payment and order corrections
  • Assist Membership teams with financial related questions and tasks
  • Daily/weekly review of Accounts Receivable balances
  • Assist with emails, phone calls, processing, and daily/weekly tasks
  • Assist with special payment distributions
  • Processing of manual payments/gift certificates/checks
  • Track and record refunds/payments/chargebacks/NSF checks
  • Process refund checks and ACH's to clubs and members
  • Monthly account reconciliation and journal entry preparation
  • Send out collection letters for outstanding customer balances
  • Support and cross train with other team members as needed
  • Additional responsibilities assigned by leadership as needed

Knowledge and Skills
  • Excellent communication (verbal & written) and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; high attention to detail
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Accounting system and customer engagement system experience a plus

Requirements:
  • Basic to Intermediate Excel skills
  • 1+ years customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications
  • 4-year college degree in Accounting or a Business degree with a concentration in Accounting
  • 1+ years financial experience

Pay Range
$24-$27 USD
Compliance with all company policies, including but not limited to the company's COVID-19 vaccination policy and testing and face-covering policy, is a condition of employment. You must be able to connect to a reliable internet service to perform all job duties when working from home. Work authorization is required, and sponsorship is not available. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
This is a hybrid role, with some days remote and some days on-site (typically 3 per week) in our office at 9127 S. Jamaica St., Englewood, CO 80112. When working in the office, we follow CDC guidelines.
