At 1st United Credit Union, we are committed to improving the quality of life for our members and communities we serve across the East Bay and Tri-Valley areas.
Call Center Consultants assist members and potential members with their requests in a Contact Center environment. They accurately describe available member services, respond to problems, and direct contacts to the appropriate areas of the Credit Union when required while accurately recording information in computer systems that record member activity.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assists members and potential members with their inquiries received by phone, chat or e-mail
  • Answers questions regarding products and services and resolves problems
  • Identifies and presents to members suitable products to enhance the membership experience and member’s financial well-being
  • Ensures the appropriate records are maintained in the credit union’s systems and prepare reports as needed
  • Support departments outside of the department as needed

What You'll Bring:
  • One year to three years of similar or related experience
  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Excellent listening and telephone skills
  • A higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication
  • Be punctual to the assigned work schedules including break schedules
  • Must be available to work Saturdays
