  • Review existing revenue accounting processes and recommend improvements to strengthen controls, improve reporting, and increase operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and record complex monthly revenue accruals, deferred revenue entries, and revenue recognition journal entries.
  • Analyze revenue trends, deferred revenue balances, contract activity, and billing information to ensure accurate financial reporting.

  • Partner with operational departments to improve the quality and accuracy of revenue-related financial data.

Accounting Operations

  • Ensure intercompany transactions and reconciliations are completed accurately and timely.
  • Oversee foreign currency revaluations and multi-entity accounting activities.

  • Assist with annual external audits and preparation of audit schedules.

  • Serve as a hands-on accounting leader while maintaining a strategic perspective of the business.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, internal controls, automation, and reporting processes.
  • Develop scalable accounting procedures to support organizational growth.
  • Review operational processes across departments to improve financial accuracy and reporting.
  • Mentor accounting staff and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • CPA strongly preferred; MBA is a plus

Preferred Experience
