Program Manager – Fiber Infrastructure ConstructionPosition Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to oversee multiple fiber infrastructure construction programs across 2–3 geographic markets in Texas. This individual will serve as the primary point of contact for both internal project teams and customer stakeholders, ensuring successful execution of large-scale telecommunications and data center infrastructure projects.

The Program Manager will lead a team of Project Managers, drive operational excellence, maintain strong client relationships, and identify opportunities to expand existing accounts while supporting new business development nationwide. This is a highly visible leadership role and serves as the face of the organization to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight for multiple fiber construction programs across assigned markets.
  • Manage and mentor Project Managers to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Act as the primary customer liaison, building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead customer meetings, provide executive-level project updates, and resolve escalated issues.
  • Coordinate with operations, engineering, construction, and executive leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identify opportunities to grow existing customer relationships and support business development efforts with new accounts nationwide.
  • Monitor project financials, resource allocation, schedules, and overall program performance.
  • Ensure compliance with customer requirements, company policies, and safety standards.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and program performance.
Qualifications
  • Several years of experience managing large-scale telecommunications, fiber optic, OSP, or data center infrastructure programs.
  • Previous experience leading multiple Project Managers and overseeing several concurrent projects.
  • Strong background managing customer relationships within telecom, utility, or infrastructure construction environments.
  • Proven ability to manage program budgets, schedules, and operational performance.
  • Experience supporting business development, account growth, or strategic customer initiatives is highly preferred.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to project sites and customer locations.
