Job description


Open to several SE locations in a Hybrid (3x a week in office) capacity:
Tampa, FL
Miami, FL
Atlanta, GA
Greensboro, NC
This highly visible position reports to the Commercial Finance Manager, assisting with strategic projects initiated by the Finance Manager and Executive Finance Director while partnering closely with the Commercial team to provide insights, bid design, and pricing strategies for Physician segment clients. The successful candidate must possess deep accounting and financial expertise to develop the advanced analytical tools and reports required to provide the Commercial and Regional Leadership Teams (RLT) with actionable financial insights.
Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning & Reporting: Lead financial planning and analysis in support of monthly outlooks and annual operating plans (AOP). Process both ad hoc and recurring complex analyses for month-end, quarterly, and year-end results, including Day +10 analytics and executive PowerPoint preparation.
  • Commercial Partnership: Partner with Commercial teams to drive profitable growth, secure new business, reduce patient write-offs, and identify underperforming accounts. Provide actionable insights and propose solutions to improve overall financial outcomes.
  • Pricing Strategy & Compliance: Support the Region with critical client pricing and profitability analyses, emphasizing the retention and acquisition of profitable customers. Stay current on geographic conditions and state regulations to ensure pricing meets compliance guidelines, sales objectives, and regional financial goals.
  • Complex Deal Modeling: Provide comprehensive analytical support and modeling for large, complex bids, including Multi-Physician Medical Groups, POL takedowns, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) due diligence and integration, RFPs, and unique FQHC arrangements.
  • Process Improvement & Automation: Continuously identify opportunities to improve productivity and reporting capabilities through automation and the utilization of advanced tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau, Access, BOTs, AI).
  • Executive Presentation: Effectively present complex financial analyses, tools, and strategic recommendations to business partners and senior leaders.
  • Team Support: Crosstrain with other Senior Financial Analysts (SFAs) to provide backup support as needed and perform other duties or special projects as assigned by the Finance Manager/Director.

Qualifications
Required Education:
  • Bachelor's degree, preferred in related field.

Work Experience:
  • 3+ years relevant experience preferred.

Other:
  • Strong PC skills (Excel, Word PowerPoint) required. PowerBI, Gemini AI, Tableau, Access a plus.
  • Ability to partner with and collaborate across functions/levels to deliver business results.
  • Critical thinker with deep business and financial acumen particularly around financial modeling, return on investments analysis, and an overall P&L understanding.
  • Excellent communications and executive presentation skills, with strong capability to frame and influence.
  • Ability to engage in healthy debates to enhance the outcome of decisions.
