Job Description

Within the US Field Sales team, the Sales and Education Executive is responsible for driving total business development within a specific market by strategically executing brand programs across open sell retailersโ€”notably Sephora and Ulta.

This role focuses on achieving and exceeding sales plans and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) benchmarks by account, developing Dior Brand Ambassadors, building relationships with the retailer employees, and upholding the Dior brand image at the store level. A key focus is elevating retail sales and client experience, requiring a regular presence at the counter and in store.

The holder of this position will work closely with various functional partners, including Retailer Beauty Advisors, Store Management, Sales, HR, Merchandising, Retail Education, Retail Excellence, Retail Events.ย This role reports to the Area Manager, and will supervise Market Leads, Selling Specialists, and Freelancers.

Business Strategy

  • Sales Goal Achievement:ย Develop and execute a territory-specific plan to achieve and exceed sales goals, aligning with brand strategy and focusing on revenue, market leadership, rank and penetration.
  • Market Analysis:ย Partner with the Area Manager to prioritize decisions based on market, trends and competitive landscape. Implement strategies to maximize business opportunities.
  • Collaboration:ย Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance CRM, brand image, assortment, inventory and company ambitions.
  • Omni-Channel Expertise:ย Maintain in-depth knowledge of Retailer CRM programs and Dior.com programming to optimize the omni-channel client experience.
  • Brand Image & Execution:ย Ensure the brand image and 360ยฐ execution of product launches, and visual merchandising are consistently upheld.
  • Market Strategies:ย Develop weekly, monthly, and annual market strategies to support business priorities and events.
  • Budget Management:ย Optimize Selling Specialist productivity through strategic staffing, T&E reconciliation and maximizing instore spend in line with allocated budgets.
  • Profitability:Be accountable for profitability/ROI and aware of P&L implications where applicable. Exemplify ownership by strategically managing budgets, fostering innovative approaches to spending, and actively seeking new avenues to drive incremental return on investment.

PEOPLE MANAGEMENT & DEVELOPMENT

  • Leadership & Motivation:ย Lead, coach, and motivate internal and external Brand Ambassadors to promote Dior values and achieve objectives while fostering creativity and innovation. Maintain an โ€œalways on stageโ€ professionalism as a DIOR representative elevating the brand.
  • Skill Enhancement:ย Enhance the skills and capabilities of Freelance associates, Market Leads, Multi-Brand Beauty Consultants and store teams, focusing on individual and collective productivity goals. Using the brand tracking tools.
  • Talent Acquisition:ย Recruit, hire, and develop talent, emphasizing retention of high-performing teams and creating succession plans.
  • Training & Processes:ย Ensure the consistent roll-out and execution of tools, products, services and brand elevation provided by Dior, including training initiative follow up.
  • Field Support:ย Conduct regular field visits (with a cadence approved by your manager) to provide hands-on support and coaching to brand teams, with emphasis on leveraging A-C volume doors and creating a strategic cadence with freelance support in outlying markets. Leverage your expertise in product, service, and artistry to coach and support Brand Ambassadors using side-by-side selling techniques & playing an active role on the sales floor.
  • Productivity Maximization:ย Maximize productivity within specialty-multi retailers through employee engagement, training, operational excellence, and effective leadership of freelance staff.
Qualifications
  • ย 5+ย yearsโ€™ sales management and people leadership experience in a retail environment. Luxury and/or cosmetics experience is preferable.
  • Collaborative team player with a growth mindset.
  • Proven makeup artistry skills with a strong portfolio or demonstrated ability to apply makeup across a diverse range of skin tones, ages, and types.
  • Deep understanding of the fragrance category, including olfactive families, fragrance notes, and the psychology of scent.
  • Excellent Social Media skills with strong following on Tik Tok and Instagram, preferred.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbal and written, and demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills.
  • Employ strategic and analytical thinking to drive business success.
  • Exhibit strong management and leadership abilities to develop, lead and inspire teams effectively.
  • Lead by example and coach teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
  • Possess strong business acumen to analyze data, develop and execute strategic action plans.
  • Work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency.
  • Demonstrate strong aptitude for using digital tools to optimize business processes and customer experience as well. as basic business applications such as outlook, PowerBi, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in the English language, both written and verbal, other languages a plus.
  • Display exceptional negotiation skills while building strong business relationships.
  • Must display excellent organizational skills, calendar management, and the ability to prioritize while multitasking.
  • Resilience and agility are required.
