Job description

Senior Executive Assistant / Executive Business Partner (to CEO)

Location: West Michigan

This is not a traditional Executive Assistant role.

We’re looking for a highly capable, trusted partner to work directly with senior leadership as a true right hand—someone who brings order to complexity, anticipates needs, and helps leaders operate at their best.

This role blends high-level execution, communication, and relationship management. You’ll play a key role in keeping priorities aligned, decisions moving, and the organization connected.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner closely with senior leadership to manage priorities, time, and focus
  • Anticipate needs, prepare for key moments, and ensure follow-through
  • Bring structure and clarity to a fast-moving, high-expectation environment
  • Own business rhythms (meetings, agendas, follow-ups) to drive alignment
  • Draft and refine communications and leadership materials
  • Support key initiatives by organizing work and coordinating stakeholders
  • Help leaders stay meaningfully connected to the team

What Success Looks Like

  • Leadership is focused, prepared, and operating at a high level
  • Priorities move forward without constant follow-up
  • The organization feels aligned, proactive, and well-communicated

Who You Are

  • Proactive and highly organized, without being rigid
  • Strong communicator with sound judgment
  • Naturally relational and detail-oriented
  • Discreet, trustworthy, and comfortable working closely with leadership

Qualifications

  • 5+ years supporting senior leaders or similar experience
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities with precision
  • Strong communication and organizational skills

Why This Role

This is an opportunity to operate as a true business partner—helping shape how leaders work, how teams stay aligned, and how the organization moves forward.
