The medical billing and coding adjunct instructor organizes their online classroom. Makes sure all information is up to date. The online adjunct instructor does make themselves available to the student to assist them in their learning journey. If there are any questions the adjunct instructor has the responsibility of communicating with their students.

Job Responsibilities:

85% Instructor will be preparing for online course start by making sure class is
organized and that there are no problems with the functionality of the course. Preparing video lessons for each unit, making sure that the syllabus is up to date and all information is ready for the term. Give instruction for concepts pertaining the Medical Billing and Coding. Maintain a positive learning environment.

10% Professional Training and Development. Instructor will receive coaching andsupport for presentation and teaching in the online space.

5% Maintain office hours and ways to communicate with students when questions may arise.

Minimum Qualifications:

Associates Degree or at least 5 years of working experience in the field.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's in Health Information Management

10 years experience in Medical Billing and Coding-Inpatient and Outpatient and familiar with revenue cycle management. Previous instruction experience.

CCS< CCS-P, CPC, RHIA, RHIT
