Your role as a Certified Coder (Orthopedics)
As a Part-Time Certified Coder at Missoula Bone & Joint LLC, you will play a vital role in the coding process by reviewing Preliminary and Held for Billing status visit notes in EMA. You will be responsible for accurately coding or correcting ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes in compliance with payer guidelines and contracts, ensuring prompt billing for both the facility and the surgeons' professional fees. In addition to your coding responsibilities, you will perform routine audits and provide essential training to physicians and staff on ICD-10 coding compliance and documentation guidelines.
