Job description

Metro Customs Brokers, a subsidiary of Omnitrans Inc., is currently searching for a Sales Account Executive to join our Sales & Business development team in New York City, Area.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with prospective customers as a trusted advisor to deeply understand their unique company challenges and goals.
  • Through direct sales representation, grow a loyal B2B customer base within a designated geographical area while strengthening the company’s position & market share within the territory.
  • Analyze the customer base (currents & prospects) and target highest potential opportunities.
  • Identify product gaps in the customer's current purchasing habits and create business plans to capitalize on opportunities and ultimately achieve sales goals.
  • Manager their own daily schedule and utilize sales productivity tools such as Salesforce.
  • Ensure successful integration of new business within the company network.
  • Review monthly results / business plans and discuss sales strategies with Sr. VP of Business Development.
  • Collaborate with a variety of departments to be a successful BDC (credit, marketing, technical services, client success and customer service)
  • Participate in the industry organizations to stay current, promote the Omnitrans brand, build relationships & network of contacts
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings, training seminars & conferences as per company’s scheduled
  • Additional duties as assigned

What You Bring

  • More than 5 years’ experience in sales, previous experience in Customs Brokerage industry is a must
  • Relevant College Diploma or bachelor’s degree
  • Proven sales track record
  • Has a consultative sales approach
  • Demonstrated ability to develop engaged customer relationships and effectively implement strategic concepts
  • Strong business acumen: Experience articulating ROI, Solution Selling Ability
  • Excellent time and territory management skills
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven & motivated
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills including MS Office Suite and smartphone
  • Excellent communicational skills in French & English
