Job description

Executive IT Support Engineer

Location: Austin, TX (100% Onsite)

Duration: 12+ Month Contract

Employment: W2 Only (No C2C, CTH, or Third-Party Vendors)


Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Executive IT Support Engineer to provide high-touch technical support for C-suite executives and senior leadership. This role is responsible for ensuring a seamless technology experience through proactive troubleshooting, device management, collaboration tool support, and executive meeting readiness.


Responsibilities

  • Deliver dedicated IT support to C-suite executives, senior leadership, and VIP users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, mobile devices, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Microsoft 365, Windows, macOS, and mobile platforms.
  • Manage and maintain executive devices, accounts, and access permissions.
  • Provide support for conference rooms, Teams, Zoom, and Webex meetings.
  • Coordinate with infrastructure, engineering, and vendor teams on escalated issues.
  • Track and manage executive hardware inventory and refresh cycles.
  • Ensure minimal downtime and exceptional customer service.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of IT support experience.
  • 2+ years supporting C-suite executives, VIP users, or senior leadership.
  • Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
  • Active Directory / Azure AD (Entra ID)
  • Microsoft Intune and Windows Autopilot
  • Windows and macOS support
  • iOS and Android device management
  • Teams Rooms, Zoom, and Webex
  • VPN and network troubleshooting
  • ServiceNow or similar ITSM tools


Preferred

  • Experience in Executive/VIP Support environments.
  • Knowledge of boardroom AV technologies.
  • PowerShell scripting experience.
  • ITIL knowledge or certification.


Skills

  • Strong executive-facing communication and professionalism.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.
