Resumen

The Account Executive I will sell AIT's services to customer then transition account to the account managers for ongoing maintenance and service. This role will consult with clients and develop solutions primarily in the domestic FTL services mode. This role will drive positive revenue results by establishing new customer relationships and manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing. The Account Executives will establish and maintain positive relationships with our customers.

Responsabilidades
  • Prospect, plan, and execute inside and outside sales calls & business development activities. Create and maintain a healthy pipeline by meeting with new prospective and existing customers. This role will close new business and grow existing business relationships by consistently performing sales activities in-person or over the phone/email
  • Consult with several levels of decision-makers and buying influences to understand their business challenges and supply chain goals and offer tailored solutions
  • Collaborate, coordinate and lead with carrier sales, account management and customer service teams to create, execute and develop unique solutions in addition to supporting both onboarding and ongoing operational activities
  • Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals by conducting sales calls, traveling to customers to complete those calls and directly work on sales related activities such as preparation of proposals or promotional material, sales report completion, arranging logistics and tasks that support sales calls
  • Ensure alignment with company strategies in forecasting, business planning, and pipeline development
  • Assist in the development of customer SOPs required to effectively manage each customers' business
  • Participate and help complete pricing requests and RFP's
  • Ensure customer AR is managed within AIT Truckload Solutions expectations
  • Maintain a strong commercial presence in the marketplace and be a subject matter expert to the team
Calificaciones

Education Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Associate's Degree Preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • 0-3 years Experience in inside sales within the logistics industry Preferred

  • Presentation skills and effective follow-up (Medium proficiency)
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) (Medium proficiency)
  • General Truckload, OTR and Intermodal terms / info (Low proficiency)
