Job description

LHH is seeking an Executive Recruiter to join our recruitment team located in Indianapolis, Indiana. This is an opportunity to join a professional recruitment team that partners with organizations across the state to fill critical direct hire, permanent placement positions across Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, Human Resources, Finance, and other professional disciplines. In this role, you will manage both the candidate and client side of the desk, build long-term business relationships, create targeted recruiting strategies, and help companies hire the talent they need to grow while helping candidates advance their careers. This position will offer a hybrid schedule with remote work flexibility and onsite collaboration at our Indianapolis office. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will include a competitive base salary, outstanding commission opportunities, comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage full-cycle direct hire recruiting for mid- to senior-level professional positions.
  • Partner with clients to understand hiring needs, business priorities, and search requirements.
  • Build targeted sourcing strategies for passive and active candidate pipelines.
  • Conduct interviews and competency-based candidate evaluations.
  • Develop new business through client leads, referrals, marketing, and relationship building.
  • Create compelling candidate presentations tailored to each client's hiring priorities.
  • Advise clients and candidates on market trends, compensation, and hiring timelines.
  • Maintain accurate client, candidate, and assignment data within ATS platforms.
  • Manage job postings, sourcing channels, outreach campaigns, and applicant flow.
  • Build long-term relationships with professionals across specialized practice areas.
  • Facilitate interview coordination, feedback conversations, offer negotiations, and placement completion.
  • Represent LHH in networking groups, professional associations, and local market conversations.
  • Support onboarding processes in alignment with client and internal requirements.
  • Mentor colleagues and share recruiting best practices across the team.
  • Participate in special projects, team initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, or related field is required.
  • Minimum of 2+ years of recruiting and/or staffing experience is required.
  • Must have experience managing full-cycle searches for professional-level, direct hire placements.
  • Must have sales experience and the ability to develop client relationships and generate new business opportunities.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience recruiting Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, HR, or Finance roles.
  • Ideal candidates will have experience sourcing passive candidates through LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
  • Experience using ATS platforms and maintaining accurate recruiting activity/data is strongly preferred.
  • Strong communication, organization, follow-up, and deadline management skills are important to success in this role.
  • Must have a consultative, competitive, resilient, and team-oriented mindset.
